The Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic is an unprecedented situation that many families are dealing with right now regardless of the facility their loved one may be in across the country. No one ever thought that their elders would ever have to deal with a worldwide pandemic. As you know, this is a rapidly evolving situation – and one that is being played out in communities, hospitals, and nursing homes across the country.

Dear Linwood Residents and families,

 

I write to you today to provide an update on our COVID-19 status.  We are currently in outbreak with 3 staff member and 11 residents that tested positive for covid. We will continue testing both residents and staff.  We are requiring use of N-95s and other personal protective equipment by our staff, and we are following excellent infection control standards to ensure the safety of our residents.  We continue to encourage all residents to be up to date with COVID-19 vaccines, as recommended by the CDC.   Visitation will continue but we ask all visitors to adhere to CDC recommendations. In addition, any visitors who have any symptoms or feeling ill please refrain from visiting. As always feel free to reach out to us at 609-927-6131 with any questions or concerns.
